"CEI Nakhchivan" LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Green Energy Company (AGEC), has signed the key project agreements for the 25 MW “Shams 1” Solar Power Plant, which will be developed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The agreements include an Investment Agreement with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and a Transmission Connection Agreement (TCA) with Azerenergy OJSC. Together, these agreements establish the legal and commercial framework for the project, ensuring long-term electricity sales and successful integration into the national grid.

The Shams 1 project represents another important milestone in Azerbaijan's renewable energy transition, supporting infrastructure modernization, energy security, and the expansion of clean energy generation.

Through this initiative, AGEC reaffirms its commitment to delivering renewable energy projects in line with international standards while contributing to the country's long-term sustainable energy goals.
